SCDF Submission
Alteration works may compromise fire safety. Installation of partitions, for example, may obstruct a fire escape route, putting the lives of occupants at risk. To mitigate this risk, it is mandatory to engage a Qualified Person (QP) prior to carrying out any proposed alterations that may affect fire safety.
